Granville 310ml Clear RTV Silicone Sealant (Automotive Industrial) 0235GRAN

  • Granville RTV Silicone is an acetoxy cure silicone sealant that cures quickly to provide a permanently flexible, high strength waterproof seal.
  • Specifically designed for automotive and industrial applications.
  • Granville RTV Silicone is ideally suited for sealing windscreen glass (NOT bonding), electrical connections, sealing around light units, rear light clusters and so on.
  • Store in a cool dry place between 5°C and 25°C
  • Colour: Clear
  • Size: 310ml

Usage

Granville RTV Silicone is ideally suited for sealing windscreen glass (NOT bonding), electrical connections, sealing around light units, rear light clusters and so on.

  • Cut the tip of the cartridge taking care not to damage the thread.
  • Apply nozzle and cut cleanly at an angle of 45° with an opening slightly larger than the gap to be sealed.
  • Apply using a standard sealant gun.
  • Best results will be obtained by keeping even pressure on the gun trigger and keeping the gun at a constant angle to the surface being sealed.

  • Skinning Time: 5 minutes @ 20°C
  • Cleaning: Uncured silicone - White Spirit

  • Specific Gravity : 1.02
  • Solubility : Insoluble in water
