Laser Tools Engine Timing Kit - for VW Group 1.0, 1.2, 1.4, 1.5 TSi Petrol 9155LT
The 9155 kit brings together the Laser 8824 and 9103 kits to form one kit to allow the user to align, set and check the camshaft timing of the Volkswagen group EA 211, EVO 4 cylinder TSi ACT, EA211 3 & 4 cylinder (without ACT), TFSi CoD, TSi ACT, TFSi, BlueGT TSi ACT petrol engines without the need to resort to computer based alignment tools.
The 9155 utilises a battery powered digital inclinometer combined with precision manufactured adaptors and alignment tooling to ensure the camshafts are set to the manufacturer’s specification.
There should be no requirement for interaction with the vehicles OBD system when following the Laser tools procedures detailed below.
- Applications include: Audi (from 2017). Seat (from 2015), Skoda (from 2015), Volkswagen (from 2015).
- Engine applications include: 1.0L, 1.2L, 1.4L & 1.5L TSi Petrol engine. For full engine code list please see applications in downloads.
- Engine variants include: EA 211, EVO 4-cylinder TSi ACT, EA211 3 & 4 cylinder (without ACT), TFSi CoD, TSi ACT, TFSi, BlueGT TSi ACT.
- Use only in conjunction with Laser Part Nos. 8824 & 9103 instructions.
- Camshaft pulley holding tools (Laser Part Nos. 4237, 8421 & 9132) or similar must be used when loosening or tightening the camshaft pulleys. Made in Sheffield. EU & UK Registered Design.
