Granville 10ml Metal Lockthread and Seal Threadlocker Universal GRV3113

  • Universal Metal Thread Lock and Sealant
  • Size: 10ml
  • Anaerobic adhesive shall be ideally stored in a cool, dry place in unopened containers at a room temperature between 5°C to 25°C.

Granville Lockthread is a medium strength anaerobic compound which cures in the absence of air to seal metal threads and cylindrical parts and which can be removed with normal hand tools if required.

  • Ideal for less active materials such as stainless steel and plated parts
  • Ideal for fasteners between 6-20mm diameters
  • Locks and seals; threaded joints/nuts, screws and studs with improved oil resistance
  • Will work on Titanium, but cure times may be extended

Features

  • Lockthread bonds and seals threads and retaining cylindrical parts
  • Eliminates the need for spring washers, split pins, wires and other mechanical locking devices
  • Seals threads against leaks and corrosion
  • Seals pipework joints on petrol, oil and hydraulic systems
  • Removable with normal hand tools if required

Lockthread is highly resistant to:

  • Heat
  • Vibration
  • Water
  • Gases
  • Oils
  • Hydrocarbons
  • And many other chemicals

Directions

Surface should be dry, clean and free of any contamination. Threadlock should be applied to the bolt in sufficient quantity to fill threads.

  • Lockthread performs best in thin bond gaps.
  • DO NOT return any unused material to the original packaging.
  • DO NOT allow the product to come into contact with with plastics.
